Frequently Asked Questions
Blue Key Domains
is a member of the professional domain name registration community. We own a large network
of outdoor and generic domain names, and provide syndicated paid search advertising to our
clients and partners.
We maintain this FAQ in order to provide you with a
quick and convenient way to address your questions as
well as a way for us to reduce our volume of email so
we can spend more time serving the needs of our partners
and clients.
Do you buy or sell
domains names or web sites?
We lease our domain names and although that is not our primary business,
we do occasionally sell a domain name under the right
circumstances. If we operate a domain name that you
are interested in buying, you may send us an inquiry.
If we are interested in selling it we will respond with
a firm, non-negotiable price. If we are not interested
in selling, you probably will not receive any response
from us at all. We’re not being rude; we receive
hundreds of requests every month and we simply do not
have time to respond to every one of them.
Of course, we do regularly purchase outdoor
and generic domain from a variety of sources. We have
very stringent requirements that a domain name must
meet before we will consider buying it.
If you have a domain name that you are
interested in selling, and that name meets our requirements,
we will make you a firm, non-negotiable offer. Again,
if we are not interested, you probably will not receive
any response from us at all.
We do not consider domain names that are
not representative of generic search terms. We also
do not usually consider buying any domain name that
is not a .COM TLD.
How do you generate traffic?
We leverage the power of Type-In traffic.
Each of our outdoor and generic domain names generate
small amounts of traffic. However, just as the mightiest
rivers start out as small streams, the combined power
of our network enables us to reach millions of people
automatically.
The Blue Key Domains
network is actually the exact reverse model of the traditional
search engine. Instead of having one site that serves
up many web site URLs, we have a cluster of sites that
point to specific search results.
You are using a domain
name that violates my intellectual property rights!
Although we use automated procurement routines, we make every effort to only purchase and
administer generic domain names that are likely to occur
to people who are searching for specific products or
services. We make no effort to intentionally capitalize
on the intellectual property rights of any person or
entity.
If you believe that one of our domain names
infringes on your rights, forward your concerns to bkd_legal@domainatty.com, along with any proof you believe
substantiates your claim. Our legal team will review
your claim and contact us with thier recomendation.
Why am I receiving email from one
of your domains?
We never send unsolicited email from any
of the domains in our network. Unfortunately, spammers
and Internet con artists use tricks that hide their
true identity and capitalize on weaknesses in the core
fabric of email technology in order to make SPAM look
like it’s coming from innocent domains.
